The Heartsaver CPR in Schools program will strengthen the Chain of Survival and improve outcomes in every community, because it teaches students to perform the first links in the Chain of Survival. By training high school students to recognize the warning signs of cardiac arrest and stroke, to call 911, and to provide CPR and relief of choking, many lives can be saved. The Heartsaver CPR in Schools Course is designed to teach students these skills in the classroom setting. The course is approximately 4 to 5 hours long, depending on the sections covered.
