COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Our American Heart Association scenario based First Aid training course uses realistic injury simulations to initiate the student in the basic principles of First Aid. This class introduces the student to a unique 17 step plan designed to encompass any first aid situation. This plan is easy to understand for the new Emergency Responder and comprehensive enough for more experienced EMS professionals. Unlike other First Aid classes, we customize our class to your specific industry and operation. Topics include:

Good Samaritan Act
Bloodborne Pathogens
General treatment Plans
Traumatic Injuries Simulations
Medical Emergency Simulations

This course may also assist you in complying with the many Cal -OSHA and Fed-OSHA regulations requiring employees to be trained in First Aid & CPR such as: Emergency Action Plans; Confined Space Rescue; Shipping, Marine Terminals, Electric Power Generation and Logging industries; HazWoper and many other standards. Course length is approximately 3-4 hours in length.
