UP TO 20 STUDENTS PER CLASS WITH 2 INSTRUCTORS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Knowing how to use a Fire Extinguisher is a vital skill for all First Responders and Emergency Response Team members. Our staff of professional Firefighters will teach your organization when and how to use a Fire Extinguisher. The training includes a live burn at your facility where each participant will have the opportunity to put out a fire. (if local conditions allow) . Additional Topics include:
  • Fight or Flight
  • Basic Fire Chemistry
  • Types of Fire Extinguishers - A, B, C & D
  • Techniques of Incipient Stage Fire Fighting
  • Building Fire Detection Systems
  • Building Fire Alarm Systems
  • Building Fire Protection Systems
This course is 2-3 hours in length. The live burn is done with the approval of your facility and the local fire department (and/or other agencies).
