COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Time to defibrillation is the most significant factor impacting survival of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Currently survival rates for SCA are less than 5% nationally. By placing an Automatic External Defibrillator in the hands of lay responders, in the work place, survival rates for SCA could reach 70% or greater. Remember, Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the number one killer in the United States. Early 911/Early CPR/and Early Defibrillation in combination is the only effective treatment for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. We are very proud to offer Automated External Defibrillators to our clients. Training to use the AED is easy and only takes four hours.
